Sids Low Sugar Plum Sauce

Made from locally grown plums, red wine vinegar (gluten free), Sucralose (a sugar derivative) and a combination of spices that really bring out the lovely plum flavours. Ideal for use on the BBQ because as it has no sugar, (except the natural sugars in the plums) it will not burn readily. This sauce is not as sweet as ‘Sids Plum Sauce’ as it is formulated for diabetics, but it is just as yummy!

Uses & Features:

  • Pork, Chicken, Duck, Fish, Venison, Sausages, Pies and Fish 'N Chips
  • Chinese food (wontons, spring rolls etc)
  • Mix with sour cream or cottage cheese as a dip
  • Use instead of tomato sauce
  • No fat, animal products or nuts
  • Gluten Free - made with Red Wine Vinegar
  • Requires no refrigeration

Sids Low Sugar Raspberry Vinegar

This is a truly amazing taste experience! Made from raspberries, red wine vinegar and Sucralose, this can be sprinkled on just about everything. Makes a great substitute for all other sauces as its’ unique flavour is sweet with a balanced vinegar tang. Ideal for use on the BBQ as it will not burn readily. This vinegar is not as sweet as ‘Sid’s Raspberry Vinegar’ as it is formulated for diabetics, but it is just as delicious!

Uses & Features:

  • Make into a Vinaigrette (4 parts Olive Oil to 1 part Sids Raspberry Vinegar)
  • Use directly on salads as a dressing
  • Sprinkle sparingly over ice-cream and desserts
  • Delicious on strawberries, avocado, peaches, hot cooked asparagus & green beans
  • Use instead of pineapple on ham steaks
  • Terrific on cold meats - especially processed meats with preservative
  • Makes a refreshing drink (1 finger of Sids Raspberry Vinegar, ice & top-up with soda, tonic or lemonade)

This is a low sugar gluten free vinaigrette to be used where subtle flavours need to be exposed. Used not only on salads but also on fish, french fries and everywhere you would use vinegar as a flavouring.
